The friendship dealership for Acura

/ September 19, 2017

Getting to photograph Don & Cheri Fleming at the Valencia Acura dealership was such a sweet treat! The Valencia location is nicknamed the Friendship Dealership for their close relationships with their clients, and after spending an afternoon with the Flemings, I completely understand why friendship is so important to these two! I feel incredibly lucky to have been a part of such a sweet story.

Clicquot Journey for Veuve Clicquot

/ September 18, 2017

Road trip!!! I’ll take any chance to head to Palm Springs for a couple days, especially when Veuve Clicquot is involved. For this campaign, we packed our bags full of endless Veuve and headed to the desert, shooting on location at Joshua Tree, Cabazon Dinosaurs, and The Saguaro (all must-sees!). So much love to my team – Cat Haave of Nous Models LA, prop stylist Sarah Horton, hair & makeup by Page Beauty and a huge thank you to Garett Cornelison for having the coolest car EVER!

Marc Jacobs Fragrances

/ September 12, 2017

When Marc Jacobs calls, you answer! Okay, well maybe it wasn’t Marc who called (ha!) but I was so excited at the opportunity to shoot Decadence for Marc Jacobs Fragrances, this time on location at The Redbury in Hollywood. Blonde bombshell Allie Holton of Nous Models LA brought the perfect touch of elegance and old Hollywood with the help of my friends at Page Beauty. Just look at that clutch perfume – sooo chic!

Cover shoot: Candace Cameron Bure

/ September 5, 2017

All of the 90’s nostalgia came flooding back as I got to photograph one of my childhood idols, Candace Cameron Bure also known as DJ Tanner from Full House!! Candace was so gorgeous in person (what’d you expect?) and effortless in front of the camera. Seeing as a huge part of Candace’s work and personal life is here in Los Angeles, I wanted to showcase her in California essentials. The airstream was such a unique touch accompanied by bright colors and floral patterns (and even some flying flowers, haha!) — the Thoughtfully Magazine cover and story might be one of my favorites!

24 hours in Washington, DC

/ August 11, 2017

On a complete high from taking portraits of Michelle Obama’s staff at the White House, I was so excited to play tourist for 24 hours before flying back to Los Angeles the next day. We stayed at the Hamilton Crown Plaza — just minutes from the White House! — and we ended our shoot with a celebratory dinner (and the best drinks) at Pennsylvania 6 (everything was RED – a colorist’s dream!!). The next day, we started off with coffee (a matcha for me) at Baked and Wired and explored historic Georgetown. Of course, being the tourist that I am, I had to go see Big Abe at the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. Seeing these iconic places in real life was beyond surreal – you have no idea how big they are until you’re up close (no offense Abe!). We also visited the Holocaust Museum, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the C&O Canal Towpath. There’s still so much we didn’t have time to see, but we’ll keep the rest for next time!!

The White House – Michelle Obama’s staff | The Everygirl

/ August 11, 2017

Being able to collaborate with The Everygirl and The White House was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity I could NOT pass up! Not only were these women beautiful and incredibly easy to photograph, I was quickly inspired by their journeys to the most important office in the United States. I even got to photograph the First Dogs — Sunny and Bo — inside the East Wing! When Michelle Obama shared the photo I took of her staff on her Instagram, it was one of those pinch me I’m dreaming moments. Pinches aside, I will never forget this moment!
